Today I want to introduce to you a new blogpost series: My Favourite Coffee Date Places.
I've visited some cafés (my wallet probably would've changed the 'some' to 'too many') every now and then with my friends last month.
I discovered that I really am a 'coffee-date-lover' and I think I am not the only one.
I know it's often seen as a 'typical girls thing', but if we're honest, in general there is nothing better than talking over some tasty not that expensive food and often enjoying a beautiful view from a nice location, isn't there?
Because places like that first have to be found and it's not a shame to know some pretty cafés around Hamburg, I thought, why shouldn't I share with you my four most favoured coffee date places.

Today I want to start off with a very modern and fancy looking café: Mit Freundlichen Grüßen.
This insider tip my grandparents gave me and not only the turquoise theme, embossed by the furniture, combined with elegant wooden tables and bubble lamps coming down the ceiling which shine turquoise too and partly red, wowed me.
There is an amazing panorama view of the Jungfernstieg and the Alster which totally underlines the urban vibes of this café. Thanks to it be located in the center of the city it can be reached by bus or train very easily. There is a bus and train station directly in front of the café.
When it comes down the so called 'cherry on top', the menu, I can only say:

If your longing for a tasty breakfast combined with amazing juices,
a 'pancake-tower' for lunch or if you just want to meet someone for coffee or if you need a cocktail bar for a girl's night out - I am positive that anybody will find what they're searching for here.
I personally, am so in love with pancakes, but until now I've never had the chance to order '...everything, please!' as a topping, a possibility, that increases the café's sympathy-factor which is already very high, when a food-lover like me happens to be a customer.
But pancakes with caramel sauce, brittle and cream or with hot cherries and cream I can highly recommend. A chai latte should not be missed at all, at least I won't miss it if I'm there, because they do make them really good.
Finally one last tip: It may be hard to find the café's entrance, because it is above the Vodafone-Shop next to the Apple Store. You have to enter the Vodafone-Shop, take the stairs and then on the right side there is the café.
